Luck of a magnitude of a mountain
Explanation:
A mountain is big and quite visible; therefore, it is very easy to deduct that the expression refers to a situation of extreme and unpredictable luck.
For example, if someone wins the lottery, people will surely say that he had “τύχη βουνό”. Did you ever happen to have “τύχη βουνό”?

Explanation:
It is an expression of disappointment and distress. Greeks use it very often when something takes more time than they expected.
For example: Nikos: "When will we finally get the results?" Marina: "In three months". Nikos: "Α, καλά κρασιά! Till then, my hair will turn grey!".
